Wondery Art and Adventure
Age(s) 3 – 5
Step into a world of creativity and exploration at the library! Explore fine art concepts like color, shape, and composition through hands-on art activities to help develop fine motor skills and patience. Children ages 3 to 5 (with an adult) have the opportunity to explore, create, and learn. Registration for each session begins two weeks before event.

Reverse Glass Painting for Teens
Age(s) 12 – 18
Reverse glass painting is a different style of painting where you build on your design backwards – starting with the finishing touches and ending with the background. Come, learn this fun painting technique! This program is for teens aged 12-18. Space it limited; pre-registration is required and opens December 17. Winter Craft Series: Finger Knitting
Age(s) 16 – Adult
Learn finger knitting with a scarf project using super soft, bulky yarn. All materials will be provided. These sessions are recommended for adults and teens(16+). Pre-registration is required; register online starting Jan. 4. Contact Lori at lwest@fargolibrary.org.

Shiver Me Timbers! A Piratical Escape Room
Age(s) 14 – Adult
Ahoy Mateys! Can ye prove yer pirate mettle by retrievin’ Cap’n Longbeard’s treasure before the ship sinks and the crew is on to ye? Ages 14+, teens and adults. Registration is required and begins on January 1st.

Teen Volunteering
Age(s) 12 – 18
Come, volunteer at the Fargo Public Library! You can make the library a great place to visit, earn volunteer hours for clubs or scholarships, and have fun at the same time. Sessions are once a month from January through May; pre-registration is required for each session.
Please Note: Participants must be 12 to 18 and need a signed permission slip from a parent or guardian.
Origami for Teens
Age(s) 11 – 18
Learn about what origami means to Japanese culture and do some folding of your own. Mika Usuki from Japan Outreach Initiative (JOI) will join us to share her knowledge and culture.
